Forest Trail – there is a choice of three Galloway Forest Park
trails. 3.25 miles, 2.5 miles and 2 miles, all have steep sections requiring
sensible, non-slip footwear.- Loch Trool Forest Trail - 5.5 miles round the
loch trail in Galloway Forest Park, circular lochside and forest walk.
Hard surface paths and tracks – graded
as strenuous - rough and muddy in places, takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

- Garlieston To Isle of Whithorn - 8 miles from the old pier at Garlieston, along Cruggleton Bay, then south to Cruggleton Point near the castle ruin, then to the coast and the Isle of Whithorn (testing).
