There are many interesting and challenging golf courses to visit whether by the sea or surrounded by spectacular backdrop of hills. If you are coming and fancy a bit of competition we can arrange a local team to play against. This hopefully adds some fun and usually leads to all kinds of cheery banter in the bar later!
St Medans Golf Club
Not for the faint hearted this hilly 9 hole course is a favourite being within site of an inviting beach so that non golfers in the family can have their fun too! The course nestles in Monreith Bay. Warmed by the Gulf stream with unparalleled views of Luce Bay, Scares Rocks (now Bird Sanctuaries), Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and on a very clear day the Mountains of Mourne.

Nestled in the heart of the Galloway Hills, Newton Stewart offers spectacular scenery to complement the challenging mature parkland course.
Measuring 5903 yards (par 69) each hole is unique in its own right with excellent greens with subtle borrows.
Water comes into play over two of the holes with patches of gorse which will catch out wild shots.

Club – Glenluce
The 'County' Golf Club is the only true links course in South West Scotland. It is situated off the A75 Euroroute, 8 miles east of Stranraer, on the shores of the scenic Luce Bay with the Isle of Man visible on a clear day.
